Despite concerns about whether Sin City can attract sports fans to the entertainment capital of the world, it's clear fans aren't shying away from the bright lights in the desert.
“Location has always influenced demand for a Super Bowl, but Vegas takes things to a different level,” Digbig co-CEO Brett Goldberg said in a statement to The Associated Press. “It's already the entertainment capital of the world, and it could become the sports capital of the world after the Super Bowl.
“Since both teams have made at least one Super Bowl appearance in the last five years, we expect some fatigue from fans, which in turn will drive prices down. Instead, we see demand at record highs and fans wanting their team to win a Super Bowl in Vegas.”
That's more than the previous record price of $7,046 for a 2021 game between Tom Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chiefs at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Covid-19 restrictions allowed the stadium to remain at 33 percent capacity, increasing demand for every ticket.
TickPick's most expensive non-Covid Super Bowl is the 49ers and Chiefs — head-to-head in 2020 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens — with an average price of $6,370.
