Calling her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome “one of the hardest experiences of my life,” Celine Dion posted a message on social media recognizing March 15 as International Stiff Person Syndrome Awareness Day.

Dion is shown in a photo with his sons René-Charles, Nelson and Eddie Angel on the stage of the go-kart racing organization K1 Speed.

Dion announced in December 2022 that he was suffering from a rare autoimmune disorder. He was unable to return to the show as he rescheduled his postponed dates at the Resorts World Theater or on his international “Courage” tour.

Dion has recently made public appearances, presenting Taylor Swift with the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in LA last month and attending a pair of Vegas Golden Knights games last November when the Montreal Canadiens were in town. The Grammys.

Dion expressed her hope in her Instagram post.
