We’re only two weeks away from Google’s next Pixel launch event, but a ton Big leaks this week told us every detail about the Pixel 9 series.

Pixel leaks are inevitable. Even though Google moved the launch date back by two months, the leaks are still coming, and we had them this week A lot. From renders to promo videos and more, we know everything there is to know about the Pixel 9 series at this point, so let’s break down all the latest discoveries.

Starting with the base Pixel 9, we learned through leaks that Google will offer the 6.3-inch device in four colors with the same camera setup as the Pixel 8, Tensor G4 and 12GB of RAM. The device will have matte bezels and a glossy glass back, and is set to be affordable at €899. US pricing hasn’t leaked yet, but it’s safe to assume it will be between $599 and $799. The Pixel 8 sells for $599 in the US, but €799 in Europe, so maybe $699.

Next in line, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL make up Google’s “flagship” duo. These devices run on the same Tensor G4 chip, but with 16GB of RAM — a new high for pixels and a new minimum for the series — and some better camera sensors (and, of course, the addition of a telephoto lens). The main shooter looks the same, but both the ultrawide and selfie cameras have been upgraded. Google’s “Pro” series will also get a four-color launch lineup, according to leaks. Following the same leaks and pricing logic as the Pixel 9, the Pro duo will be priced at $999 and $1,099.

Then, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is the oddly named sequel to the Pixel Fold, a device set to be Google’s big change to foldables. Gone is the narrow and wide form factor of the original, and instead the new device gets a taller exterior display, a OnePlus Open-like design, and a larger internal display. Leaks say the internal bezel is gone, the cameras are largely unchanged, and it will be sold in several countries. It is expected that there will be no change in the price.

Of course, there is some AI involved.

Leaked promotional videos and marketing materials have revealed some new features. And Gemini can use an image to generate advanced information (Google’s go-to example for creating a recipe of the contents of your fridge), the Magic Editor accepts text prompts, and “Add Me” adds you to a group shot if you’re not the first.

There’s a good chance there will be more surprises to come, but the Pixel 9 series is shaping up pretty well. And there’s a lot more on the table. Google is also going to launch the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2, which we’ve heard a lot about this week.

Samsung’s One UI 7 update is different

As Google prepares to launch Android 15 (on the Pixel 9), Samsung is rolling out an update for Galaxy devices. It comes with One UI 7, which is said to be a major update to the company’s skin. And, based on early leaks, it certainly seems that way. This week’s leaks have revealed new design changes, features and more, and it’s sure to be interesting.

Whatever the update is, we’ll get a first look on Monday.

Why yes, there are more Google leaks

Beyond the Pixel, Google has two more devices. This week saw the leak of a new generation Nest Learning Thermostat and a “Google TV Streamer,” which is likely to take the place of Chromecast alongside Google TV. Both are incredibly late releases, but we don’t know when they’ll launch.
