Harrison Budger Responds to Serena Williams and Quinta Brunson’s ESPY Diss

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butler has responded to comments made by ESPYs host Serena Williams from the stage during Thursday night’s show.

Williams was joined on stage by her sister Venus Williams Abbot Elementary Created by Quinta Brunson to celebrate women in sports.

“So enjoy women’s sports like any other sport because they are sports,” said Venus Williams.

Serena Williams added, “Harrison Butker except you. We don’t need you.” Then Brunson said, “Nothing. As always.”

The attack stemmed from Butker’s commencement address at Benedictine College earlier this year. During her speech, she expressed her hope that some of the graduating women are looking forward to becoming housewives.

Patkar, who attended the ESPYs, defended herself on Friday NBC News.

“I thought Ms. Williams was a great host and applaud her for using her platform to express her beliefs on a variety of topics,” he said.

“Sports should be a great coordinator, and in an event dedicated to the celebration of a wide variety of men and women who have accomplished great things, he used it as an opportunity to exclude those he disagreed with from supporting fellow athletes.” he added.
