It could have been enough to signal to the team that something had gone wrong. Coach Zach Taylor said after the game that he had no idea about the issue until he saw the social media reaction.
Well, it happened on Wednesday night. Shouldn’t the Bengals have investigated and, if necessary, updated the injury report?

The true motivation of the investigator is crucial to the outcome of any investigation. Does the NFL want to simply check a box? Or does the NFL want to properly enforce its rules regarding reporting injuries?
